Marriage Licenses
	If the license was purchased in Contra Costa County, you
	may obtain a copy from this office; otherwise, contact the
	Recorder's office in the county where it was purchased.  If
	the county is not known, please contact the State Office of
	Vital Statistics in Sacramento.

You cannot use this service if you were married with a confidential marriage license.

This service is NOT for purchasing a license, but rather for obtaining a certified copy of a license that has already been issued.

The following information is needed to order a certified copy of a marriage license:

• Address the certified copy is to be sent to.
• Groom's name
• Bride's previous last name (maiden or married)
• Date of marriage
• Fee - Certified Copy: $16.00 /ea
