AFTER PURCHASING YOUR ANIMAL:

Within 72 hours (Sundays and holidays excluded), take your new pet to a participating veterinarian for a FREE physical examination for your animal.  CLICK HERE TO VIEW LIST OF PARTICIPATING VETERINARIANS.

Call first for an appointment. This examination is provided at no charge by each participating veterinarian.  IMPORTANT: There will be a charge for all vaccinations, medications, and/or supplies.  If the animal is sick, have the veterinarian state the problem on the bottom of your receipt and sign and date it.  Return the animal along with the signed receipt and all other paperwork to us within 48 hours after the exam for a refund or exchange.

Trial Period: You have 30 days to "get acquainted" with your animal. If it does not work out, bring the animal and all paperwork back within 30 days from date of purchase. You will have 60 days from the date of return to secure another animal.  If you find another animal within 60 days, the money paid on the first purchase will apply toward the exchange, with a maximum of three exchanges allowed after initial purchase.  If you do not find another animal within 60 days, you may obtain a refund of any unused deposits.

For Renters:  If you are a renter, you will need to provide proof of your landlord's approval stating that you are allowed to have pets in your residence; or, you will need to provide your landlord's contact information so that Animal Services can obtain authorization prior to any adoptions.

Paid deposit for your cat/dog license. For completion of your license application, you must return the completed rabies vaccination certificate/license application form to the Animal Services Department. Upon receipt of the rabies certificate, we will process your application and mail you the license tag. We will also return your rabies certificate.  Note: If you have purchased a dog that is over 4 months of age, you have 30 days from date of purchase to license the dog.  Failure to do so may result in a penalty fee being charged.

• We encourage you to comply with all procedures and regulations for the well-being of your pet and hope you will enjoy our services and facilities.
